Our Story
A reliable German partner for sustainable paper.
Golden Bridge Industrial Zone GmbH is a German manufacturing and trading company headquartered in Berlin, with production operations in Luckau, Brandenburg. We specialize in the domestic production of stone paper — a tree-free, waterproof, fully recyclable paper alternative made primarily from calcium carbonate.
Stone paper is not new — but most of it still arrives in Europe from overseas. Our goal is to change that: to build a European supply chain, produce at scale with German engineering, and offer our B2B customers the predictability, traceability and quality standards they expect from a domestic partner.
We work closely with packaging brands, publishers, retailers and sustainability-focused institutions who no longer accept the environmental cost of traditional wood pulp — and are ready to transition to a material that actually respects the planet.

Company founded in Berlin
Golden Bridge Industrial Zone GmbH is established as a trading and manufacturing company focused on sustainable alternatives to wood-based paper.
Facility acquired in Luckau
A 24,000 m² industrial site in Brandenburg is selected for our first European stone paper production line, strategically located 70 km from Berlin.
German engineering partnerships
Collaboration with leading German mechanical engineering firms to adapt extrusion and calendering technology to high-volume stone paper output.
First domestic production line
Commissioning of the first fully European stone paper line, producing sheets from 80% calcium carbonate sourced within the EU.
Government-backed B2B platform
Onboarding on a government-supported B2B platform enables direct access to domestic buyers in packaging, publishing and retail.
